Successful FAT for 2nd ADNOC Subsea Control System

Following the successful commissioning of the 1st system, Amon Automation has officially completed the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for the 2nd ADNOC Subsea Control System, specifically tailored for Super Shallow Water Structures in the UAE.

Subsea architectures present unique automation challenges due to their inaccessible nature and extreme environmental conditions. The control system, built on high-availability Siemens Automation frameworks, is designed to ensure uninterrupted wellhead control and telemetry.

Testing & Validation

The FAT procedures rigorously tested the system's capacity to maintain secure communication and execute safety protocols autonomously.

  • Validation of remote telemetry unit (RTU) communication protocols
  • Testing of automated Emergency Shutdown (ESD) sequences
  • Verification of redundant power and control loop seamless switchover

Following this successful milestone, the system is being prepared for immediate deployment to the UAE offshore site.
